Chapter 6

 “Mako-chan!”

Makoto turn around abruptly upon hearing her name. She smiles when she saw Kisho-senpai, a senior who works at the nearby Ruby Cake Shop. She had been eyeing this senpai since that fateful day when she walked into the shop to buy her baking ingredients. She had grabbed all her items and dumped them at the cashier, only to realise that she had forgotten her purse. Growing red all over her face, she mumbled an apology to the frowning lady and turn to go quickly, too quickly in fact. She was knocked off balance by a young man holding a large tray of cookies which, after being knocked were now flying all over the shop. Both Makoto and the young man fell to the ground.

“Ouchh.. that hurts..”

“Oh no….ouch! I’m so sorry.. I..” Makoto sits up quickly and kept mumbling apologies while massaging her back, which feels sore all over.

“Hehe.. It’s alright. I suppose I did not see where I’m walking to as well.. This tray of cookies had blocked my view” Makoto’s victim laugh while standing up brushing off the dust. “Come, let me help you up.”

Chapter 5

No answer.

Luna looks up again. The little girl ignored her and continues walking. Beginning to feel creepy, Luna tried again. “Meowww…” Looking up at the little girl face, Luna purrs softly. The little girl eyes began to glow. It became so bright that it hurts Luna’s eyes. She closed her eyes, wondering what is happening. When she looks up again, the little girl eyes had became normal, losing their blinding brightness earlier, return to the warm and friendly eyes, which, Luna suddenly realised with a shock, belongs to Usagi.

Soul of the Soul - Chapter 1

Yuiko is an average high school girl who loves to sleep and enjoy life more than her studies. Or so she thought. As time passes by, it will be obvious that there is nothing average about her. Will she be able to fulfil the expectation other people had on her? Or will she give in to fate finally?

Author Note:
These adventures happened on a fictional city in Japan and there maybe terms that were invented in this fiction.

Chapter 1

“Yui-chan...”

“Yui-chan!”

“YUIKO SATO!”

Yuiko open her eyes a little, still dazzling in her own world, wondering who in her right mind had shouted her name so loudly. “As if I’m deaf,” she muttered still in her dream. She decided that it is her adoring fans screaming her name aloud as she sing and dance on the big stage, with all spot lights shining brightly on top of her.

Standing right in front of the sleeping Yuiko, Megumi stared hard at her childhood friend, shaking her dark brown hair. Being friends for almost 16 years, she knows Yuiko too well to know that nothing can wake her if she is in that state.

It is 5 o’clock on a Friday evening. School had been over hours ago and Yuiko, who stayed up late yesterday night to watch her idol, Mako, on a late television programme, had been found deep in sleep on her desk by Megumi. Since Yuiko will not wake up, Megumi decided that plan B should be carried out, and fast. They are due to be home by half past five for dinner. There’s an important guest Papa entertaining tonight and he wanted dinner to be served promptly. Mama had reminded them many times and again in the morning before they left for school.

Sailor Darkness - Senshi no Yami (Chapter 4)

Chapter 4
After Rei broke down, the others simply doesn’t know what to do. Minako suddenly remembered something and turn to Luna and Artemis, who were staring at each other silently.

“Luna, did you say that the moon was clouded for the past few days? Maybe that is the sign that the evil power is at the moon? Is there any way we can reach the moon to investigate?” Minako crouched down to speak to Luna.

Luna stared at Minako. “Well, the only way to get to the moon is through Usagi’s crystal. However, the only one who can use the crystal is also her. I really don’t know what we can do. Besides, we never know what is happening at the moon so it is really dangerous to go there.”

There’s a silence after that.

Author Rant 2

Hello!

Today is Friday. Weekend is just around the corner. Maybe I should dedicate my free time to more writings? Hmm..wait a minute. I have plans for the whole weekend though. Oh well.

Anyway, I've decided to re-write Soul of the Soul Chapter 1. As I mentioned in my earlier rant, I've been abandoning this story for quite a few months. And finally yesterday I got inspired and wrote out the full storyline for this story. Therefore, something not quite fit the rest of the story in Chapter 1. I'm going to remove it first and post it again once I'm done. Stay tune ya!

Sailor Darkness - Senshi no Yami (Chapter 3)

Chapter 3

Closing her eyes for deep concentration, Rei chanted a string of mantras in front of her holy fire. When she opens her eyes and stood up so suddenly, Makoto and Minako were shocked and jump up as well, almost knocking each other over their exasperation.

“Rei-chan, how is it?! What did you see? Did you see the evil power that captured Usagi?” Minako said quickly after regaining their balances.

Rei shakes her head in silent. “However, I sensed something very evil just now. It lasted just a mili-second and disappeared as quickly as it appeared.”

Three of them exchanged glances. “Could it be.. be.. anyone from the previous enemy? Is it one of them?” Makoto whispered, clenching her fist hardly.

“No. It’s nothing like the previous enemy. This evil power is a lot stronger. Besides that, I also sense that.. no. It couldn’t be. No.” Rei hit her head with her palm a few times, shaking her head vigorously. She couldn’t believe what she had just sense in her holy fire. However, she had never read them wrongly before. Not once.

Author Rant 1

I've come up with a little story about Yuiko Sato few months ago. I have written chapter 1 for it and decide on a name for the fiction. However, after that 1st chapter, I had stop writing it. I seem to have no idea what to continue. In the end, I kind of abandoned it already. Until just now. When I saw this chapter 1 again, I decided to continue them.

This time, I did not continue to write straight away but write out the story outline first so that I know what the story is going to be about. I've finally get a rough idea of what is going to be what and where is going to be where as well as who is going to be who.

Now I am very excited to start writing the 2nd chapter as I'm guessing it will be quite fun to do now that I've got the rough idea.

Besides that, I quite like the idea of the storyline and the way it turns out. I hope I could finally finish this story in the end!

Stay tune!

That Day (In conjunction with Valentine)

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters

That day was bright and sunny. The sky was blue with some clouds forming a group of cute shapes. Birds were chirping on the trees and butterflies were flying from one blooming flower to flower. Everyone took advantage of the cheerful spring Sunday to laze and relax at the park. Laughter could be heard often as everyone enjoy themselves. Everyone could be seen talking and laughing. Some couples were snuggling together cozily.

Everyone except two.

Deeper Understanding

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters

“Nodame-chan, don’t you want to play the piano anymore?” Nodame’s grandma sat down beside her, looking at her troubled face tenderly.

Nodame had once again returned to her hometown, to her family. She had once again fled the reality. This time, she was determined to stay away from the horrible music that once had been everything to her. She does not want to be hurt again. Not anymore.

Nodame just stared at her piano in front of her. She does not know how to answer her grandma. Tears began to drop from her starry eyes. Grandma use her wrinkled fingers to wipe the tears away. “If it is really so hard, don’t push yourself anymore. I want to see my little Nodame-chan to be cheerful again.”

Grandma sat beside Nodame, patting her head which she hides in her hands, sobbing softly. Neither said anything.

Without them realizing, a pair of eyes was staring at the doorway at them. A pair of sad eyes. Slowly, he retreated and left the house. No one except both of them was in the house, which explained why he could hide himself and watch everything quietly. Part of him wished that he had not seen them. He did not realize that Nodame had been under so much stress. He always thought that she was lazy and avoided lessons to have fun. Little does he understand that that was not the truth. He had always taken her cheerfulness for granted. Not knowing the miserable her underneath her happy expression.

Walking silently along the beach, Chiaki’s mind kept replaying what he saw moments ago.

Chapter 2

*Dingg donnng*

“Usagi, it’s your friends” Mama called.

Ami, Rei, Makoto and Minako all crowded inside Usagi’s room. However, Usagi was nowhere to be seen.

“Where had she gone to? She is hiding from us again” Rei glared at Luna, who is sitting on the bed calmly.

Luna shakes her head and sigh. “She rushes out of the room when she knows you guys are coming. I can’t stop her.”
